What makes it special? Well we take a pretty standard mix that you could reasonably make yourself and we sterilise it. Seems counterproductive right? Well, usually yeah. However we put the work in after sterilisation, jam packing that substrate back up with bioactivity and nutrients from mycelium inoculations, the addition of live flake soil as well as leaf litter and tannin extractions.
Now you can opt for the Bio-active add-on, this simply adds a portion of springtails (tiny white springtails) into the substrate so its ready to roll and cheaper than purchasing springtails seperately!
So you get all the benefits of a substrate rich in bioactivty and nutrients without any of the risk of bringing in unwanted pathogens or critters into your terrarium/vivarium.
Sold in 500g or 1Kg portions, lightly vacuum sealed (unless you got the bio-active add-on) once inoculated prior to transit. Instructions on packaging and are also available in the website’s Library section. This item is shipped via AusPost postage with tracking. Unless your order contains livestock, it will be shipped with 48 hours, otherwise it will be shipped on a Monday/tuesday via AusPost Express.
