As our preliminary work with Tessellated Stick Insects comes to a close we decided to release some of the eggs in the shop! Sold in packs of 10.
Anchiale austrotessulata is an incredible species of stick insect native to Australia. Named for its incredible tessellated black and white pattern on the male wingspan, like a chessboard. However they shouldn’t be sold short just at that, their bodies are beautiful shades of brown to pastel green and come in at about the 15-20cm mark as adults, much larger than your typical Spiny Stick Insect.
They have typical phasmid care requirements and eat many different species of eucalyptus leaves.
They are shipped within 3 business days via regular Australia Post unless livestock was included in your order, in which case on a Monday/Tuesday via Auspost Express.
