Armadillidium Vulgare or Roly-Polys, kept and bred by our very own crew on site, they are one of the more common isopods in the hobby currently but still unique in their own out of the beginner species! Named after their ability to nearly completely close up into a ball (picture similar to an Armadillo!). Slower growing and slower to breed than their Pruinosis family relatives but providing a unique shape and colour palette and patterns as generations develop.
Like all isopods, a go-to for anyone wanting to attempt any kind of bio-active set up or simply keep isopods as a stand-alone pet, they play the important role of helping to break down decaying organic matter in the environment.

Sold in counts of 20+ (so one quantity you buy is a container with at least 20 isopods) of varying ages for colony prosperity but no wee babies! Livestock orders are posted on a Monday/Tuesday via AusPost Express postage.
